THE ACTORS' STUDIO ACTING CLASSES & COURSES The Actors Studio in Sydney (Australia) provides professional industry-based training courses and classes in acting for stage and screen for artists seeking professional careers in theatre, film and television. The Actors Studio has pioneered a revolutionary truth-based approach designed to harness the raw power of honest communication, real emotion and personal life experience to create a vivid sense of personal truth in performance. Our groundbreaking technique builds on the work of a collection of the world's most influential theatrical teachers of the modern era including Lee Strasberg, Sanford Meisner, Constantin Stanislavsky, Ivana Chubbuck and others. The studio offers 4 training streams to choose from. Each stream is tailored to cater for a different level of commitment to training. The streams are integrated and allow for transfer between streams if desired. Truth Masterclasses Casual, progressive, term by term acting classes catering for all levels of experience - advanced, intermediate and beginner. (no audition required)
1 Year Foundation Acting Program The first step toward a professional career in acting for theatre, film and TV. Three (3) classes per week for one (1) year. Part time. (audition required)
2 Year Intensive Acting Program Complete, comprehensive training for actors seeking professional careers in theatre, film and TV. Three (3) classes per week (plus rehearsals and performances) over two (2) years. Part time or full time. (audition required)
Advanced Scene Study Classes For trained and experienced actors only. One (1) class per week. Mondays at 6.15pm. (audition required)
