Drop-in Acting Classes Now Available

Drop-in acting classes in Sydney are now available for our Screen Acting Technique Class on Thursday evenings. In weeks 1-3 of the term we will be focussing on skill building exercises, dramatic improvisation and how to work truthfully within a set of given circumstances. In weeks 4-6 we will focus on scripted scene work on camera.

Our groundbreaking approach harnesses a cocktail of techniques from master teachers including Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Constantin Stanislavsky, Ivana Chubbuck and more designed to build performers who bring, depth, honesty and a vivid sense of truth to their work. We unpack the craft of acting with unique clarity and arm the actor one tool at a time. Our approach aims to teach actors to work from the inside out; to work from a starting point of real feelings rather than false external expression; to fill their work with a vital element of truth; and to always be guided by the principle that emotional authenticity is the key to engaging an audience’s imagination.

Our acting courses in Sydney are operated out of Riley Street Studio in the heart of Surry Hills and our acting school caters for actors 18yrs+ only.

If you are booking for weeks 4-6 a scripted scene will be emailed to you. Please learn and prepare the script thoroughly.
